Help for children in Ukraine
Children are at the heart of everything the UNITERS Foundation does. Our story began with them.
Since 2014, we have been carrying out the flagship project “Holidays Without Dad,” a charitable campaign that every year brings together thousands of people of goodwill to give holidays to children who have lost their parents as a result of war.
This is not humanitarian aid, but a gesture of remembrance, gratitude, and hope—a symbol that the world remembers them, that despite pain and loss, goodness still exists.
Our activities
Every year at Christmas, we prepare thousands of individual holiday packages for children who have lost loved ones due to the war.
We reach even the most difficult places: right on the front line, where children grow up in the shadow of explosions and fear. Thanks to cooperation with CIMIC, the Armed Forces, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the gifts safely reach the youngest, becoming a sign that they are not alone.
Christmas in the line of fire
After the full-scale invasion began, we created a special project called “Holidays on the Frontline” aimed at children living in the most dangerous regions. Every day they hear explosions, hide in shelters, and learn to live with fear.
We cannot stop the war, but we can give them a moment of childhood: a package, a letter, a toy, a smile, and the knowledge that someone remembers them.
Support and preservation of childhood
We help not only through gifts.
We organize recreational camps and integration activities for children whose fathers have been injured or killed. This is a time when they can rest, play, and feel like children again.
In Poland, we support refugee children and children in crisis:
- we organize social and integration events for children and families
- we conduct culinary workshops, art therapy, and developmental activities,
- we provide free psychological consultations, especially for children who have difficulty adapting or experience bullying.
Our goal is to rebuild a sense of safety and trust in the world—because every child deserves peace, play, and love.
Because children should not know war.
They should not grow up in fear or learn survival instead of dreams. Thanks to the support of donors and UNITERS volunteers, every year we bring smiles back to thousands of children from the frontlines in Ukraine to centers in Poland.
These are small gestures that carry great power. Because when you give a child a gift, a smile, or a moment of joy, you truly change their world.
